VSMA Chapters
The Virginia Society of Medical Assistants (VSMA) is incorporated under the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia. Its purpose is to enable medical assisting professionals to enhance and demonstrate the knowledge, skills and professionalism required by employers and patients; protect medical assistants’ right to practice; and promote effective, efficient health care delivery through optimal use of multi-skilled Certified Medical Assistants (CMA (AAMA) s). The state society is comprised of four local chapters and representative(s) for members at large. The VSMA serves over 300 members throughout the State of Virginia.
